Family Portrait
Baby must have known daddy wanted to take some family photos on Saturday because he pulled out his feeding tube AGAIN. That’s really nice of him.
I’m not sure what’s going on with my oldest son (left) and youngest daughter (right). My son spiked up his short hair because he wanted to be a porcupine. And my little girl looks like she’s about to be eaten by the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

The Stay Puff Marshmallow and porcuine line was so funny. I still think the portrait turned out gorgeous. Yes, that was nice of Disney to pull out his tube. His cheeks can almost rival Bella’s now. :) How is he doing ?
(BTW, if you liked yesterdays post you are going to love today’s.) :)
He has a running nose, but he is fine and gaining weight.
My goodness, your kids are beautiful!
I love your son’s “porcupine” hair. When Roo’s hair sticks up he calls it “chicken Hair”
And that feeding tube is really doing it’s job. Look at Disney’s little cheeks!
The tube is working, but now he eats even less without the tube. He let us put food in his mouth, but then he spits it back out.
Aw, they are so sweet, DF! I hope the tube went back in without a problem. Disney looks so healthy in this pic!
It’s hard to put the tube back in because we have to hold his head still and he cries bloody murder when we stick the tube back in.
Too freaking cute! My son hates his picture taken and it shows. With him though we were lucky, we did not have a feeding tube inserted but we did “finger feed” him. The tube was taped to our pinkie finger and we had to stroke his pallet to stimulate him to feed. It took forever to feed him that way as it was a very slow process.
My kids don’t like having their pictures taken either (especially the baby). Next time, I’m going to give the three older kids a choice: photo or flu shot.
Classic kid photo! You know, if it weren’t for porcupine wannabes and stay puff marshmallow faces you’d have very little to remember. :) *wink* Good to see Disney getting bigger, what a rough road eh?
Hugs,
Holly
I didn’t know porcupines were so cool. He even makes his hair “spiky” for school.
Gorgeous photo! Little Disney is looking GREAT!
His weight is almost where he should be, but he still has not figured out how to eat. How hard can that be?
Truly, Little Disney IS looking great! He’s bright eyed, smiling, and has rosy, chubby cheeks. What a cutie.
They all love wonderful. Great job, K!
For the most part, he’s like most 11-month year old’s. He’s crawling and making a mess of things. He even cries when you take something away from him. If he would eat with his mouth, I would be very happy.
Awww, still a good picture. I bet, if you coat some cardboard with lard, he may gain some weight without the feeding tube. Heck, he is almost 12 months old, start giving him chocolate milk, strawberry milk… whatever it takes. If he can make it to 11 months and still be alive and thriving… the doctores really must be nuts to keep him on a feeding tube.
He’s allergic to milk, peanuts, eggs, tomatoes, and shellfish. He likes to make our life difficult.
What a gorgeous family. :) I meant to reply to your comment on my blog last week — I’m just a mommy with a camera, too. :) The main thing is getting light reflected in the eyes. Get that, and it looks “professional.”
I think it’s a great picture full of lots of personality! :)
They all look adorable. I love the ruffled hair. I comb my granddaughters up that way so it looks like she has some :) Baby Disney looks like he’s been putting on weight his little cheeks are getting nice and chubby. Hopefully one day soon this will all be behind you.
This is a swell pic of your kids!! Just sweet!
