Manly Flowers for Men

Teleflora's Big Hit Flower Bouquet

Father’s Day is coming up in about three weeks. If you have not figured out what to give yet or if you don’t want to spend a bundle on a Porsche or a Segway, consider giving flowers to good old dad. It would be different. As an added bonus, Teleflora will donate a portion of their sales proceeds to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) when you order their new baseball-themed bouquets, Big Hit (photo above) or Play Ball. [Here's a scary thought: prostate cancer strikes one out of six American men.]

Now’s your chance to send a free bouquet of flowers to the man in your life. Leave a comment below to win a bouquet of flowers from Teleflora (thank you Teleflora!). The Father’s Day Giveaway contest will end Wednesday, June 10th. My wife will select a winner.

Here’s a blurb from Teleflora about their baseball-themed bouquets:

Teleflora’s Big Hit and Play Ball Bouquets arrive in oversized ceramic baseball mugs with hand-painted stitching. These arrangements arrive with either red carnations or a combination of carnations, delphinium, lilies, and chrysanthemums, and are available online for $46.95 or through local Teleflora florists. Once the flowers are gone, dads can use the mugs for morning coffee or as a container to hold pens, pencils or even a variety of plants.

Or another tie, or barbecuing utensils or Soap On A Rope! Do you remember that stuff? I gave my dad that every year and by July the stuff had magically disappeared!

My plan was to get my guy a new grill for father’s day, but it is going to have to wait another week, I won’t have all the money by Father’s Day. Luckily, his birthday is the following week. I would love to win this so I can give him something.
