This is one of those good news, bad news post.
Bad news: we lost power yesterday evening.
Good news: power was out for less than two hours.
Bad news: it was annoying having to reset all the electronics afterwards.
Good news for me: I finished editing my Halloween video on Saturday.
Bad news for you: I get to torment my readers with another video. You’re welcome.
That’s one of the fun part of being a dad — making fun videos of the kids (and eating their Halloween candy when they are asleep). One of these days, the kids will be embarrassed by the videos. But right now, the videos make my kids laugh their little heads off.

I like how he runs in and out of the video. Luckily he was going slow enough to capture on video.
Holy cow, that was a lot of costumes. Do your kids visit the same houses multiple times in different costumes to get more loot?
That’s only about half the costumes. Be glad I didn’t show all the costumes in the video.
Nope, the kids don’t change costumes and visit the same houses over and over again. It’s much faster stealing candy from the other kids.
I think those are “show at their weddings when they’re adults” kind of videos. Don’t you? *wicked grin*
When the kids are older, the videos will also be great blackmmail material when I need them to do something they don’t want to do.
I love it! I torture my family with photos, and a very few vids from time to time…hee hee

Yes, we are the Halloween family. People are amazed our kids are not afraid of our Halloween decor. Luckily, it’s not too spooky.
just wait a couple more years and it will be, “Dad do we haaaaave to?….. But all our friends are out smashing pumpkins.”
I’ll just hide the camera and record them in secret. Or maybe I’ll follow them when they pumpkin smashing with their friends.
The videos are really sweet and make me want to fill my home with children. Then I think about being pregnant.. Your wife is really amazing to grow all those darling creatures!
