At least he’s addicted to Star Wars so you can understand what he’s talking about. My kids are addicted to Bionicles, especially my oldest. I think my ears are going to fall off if Patrick talks to me about the Bionicles once more…

My son is a Star Wars fanatic. In fact, he hums the Imperial Empire theme over and over as he’s building star ships and star destroyers with LEGO bricks. He’s a maniac. He moves to his own soundtrack.

When they first start talking, it can be frustrating too because the words they use may have different meaning to them. I’m actually amazed I didn’t tear out all my hair.

Ya it would be great to look inside there head. You can see it in their eyes when they are thinking really hard about something. It bugs me sometimes when I know something really interesting is going on inside but I can’t figure out what special since my girl can’t talk yet.

Funny you should mention Ironman. We finally saw it on Saturday. Afterwards, my son said he should have picked the Ironman costume because Ironman is so cool. I’m hoping I can get it on clearance next month.

Hang in there. The sports thing could just take awhile. My girls didn’t enjoy my love for baseball until they became young teenagers, so there is hope. As far as checking inside their heads, it might be better for you not to know. Could be some scary stuff…

My son calls Darth “Koooo Keeeee” for the breathing sound. LOL He got into the movies after playing the Star Wars Lego games. Crazy stuff.

I’d throw in a witty line like “long live and prosper” but I can’t top that cute little Darth….:)

Interestingly enough, my son was going to be DV for Halloween, but decided on IronMan instead but got a DV candy bucket…hee hee

He’ll get interested in sports around the time you start to get un-interested in them, apparently. LOL
