Too Cute

Maybe it’s just me, but I think the Little Monkey is at the perfect age: two to three years old. Babies are cute, but all they really do is eat, sleep, poop, and cry. When they are one, they can walk, but they can’t talk clearly. I find it very frustrating trying to understand a one-year old. Do you want the apple? No, how about the orange? The fork? Oh, you want the knife. Ok, here you go. Trying to understand a one year old is very much like trying to understand a woman. You know what I mean. Don’t waste money buying me flowers on Valentine’s Day really means buy several dozens. And don’t buy me a big diamond ring because it’s too expensive really means buy it now or you won’t get any action. Ever.

I think ages two and three are just right. They are so cute at that age. I kid you not, every time I see the Little Monkey, I want to pick her up and kiss and hug her until she slaps me in the face and tells me to stop it. Even at the age of two, too many kisses and hugs from dad can be very embarrassing for a child.

The Little Monkey is also at the age when she can carry a conversation. I’ll ask her where’s my kiss and she replies with it’s outside. I’ll ask her how did it get out there and she tells me auntie put it there. One of the Little Monkey’s favorite questions right now is, why do you get to do that and I don’t? I tell her it’s because I’m bigger and she replies with, no, I’m bigger and you’re little.

Now for some photos of the Little Monkey:

She’s too cute indeed! A 3-year-old is easier to talk with, compared to my little 18-month old.

Whoops! Here comes my little old man (that’s my son) pressing the button of my monitor. Lol! It’s crazy when he’s on a frenzy to push anything he likes to see here. He loves electrical wires and anything dangerous and exciting.

Looking forward to see and hear more about your little Monkey, she’s adorable!

The Little Monkey likes to push buttons too. It’s a good thing we don’t have a nuclear reactor in the house. Otherwise, she might cause a core meltdown.

Oh my that is a cute little girl. I wish we lived closer. Her and Roo would be great friends.
I didn’t realize how much she looks like her brother! They have the same face!

I’ve been trying to get her to wear her brother’s old clothes, but she’s not going for it. I think another little Spiderman in the family would be awesome.

I personally always thought four-years-old was the best age. They still sweet, want to help with everything, and don’t sass back. Ahhh, the good old days…

She’s adorable, BTW, but then again, she knows that, right?

Four isn’t a good year for our kids. That’s when they get very whiny.

Awwwwww you’re right there’s something about this age that makes you want to smother them with hugs and kisses. Don’t worry I got (still get) plenty of reality check face slaps.

Hugs,
Holly

Something tells me we’ll be getting more reality checks when the kids become teenagers.

Beautiful child…. must take after her Mummy. I still think infants are the best, you can put them down, go away and when you come back they are still right where you left them! they havn’t done anything evil at all.. no goldfish down the loo, nothing!

Our kids were defective when they were infants. They cried whenever we put them down.

Luckily, I don’t have to be a real man anymore. The kids don’t wear diapers anymore. Yay!

That’s why my wife married me…to pass along my cute genes to the kids. She doesn’t really love me. She’s just using me to produce cute kids.

Awwww….. Would love to plant more kisses on those chubby cheeks! :)

Our little piggy (he loves eating… at the moment) just started walking and will turn 1 on Wed. Our house is already in the works and will be a war zone soon… :(

Happy birthday to the little piggy. One isn’t a bad age, but it would be nice if they could talk in a way that you can understand.

This child is beyond precious Man, you make good looking kids! And three is my absolute favorite age; I love the way they think “outside the box.”

Our Little Monkey is quite the talker. It’s fun to talk to her and hear what she comes up with.

I have to agree - that’s about the best age. Much better than 4. Julia is about to be 4. Oh Dear Lord, I don’t think I’m ready for 4.

Your Little Monkey is adorable!
