Just Add Love
My back went out again. I’m not going to bore you with another rant, other than to say I wish I could go to the body parts store and buy a back replacement.
Speaking of wishes, I think most dads and moms wish raising kids could be this simple:
Plant baby seeds
Water
Sprinkle some love
Nurture
Voila…

Would you use compost?…somehow that seems cruel.
btw – awesome pictures!

Nope, we’re using love in place of compost.
Bummer about your back mate. And ya just know raising kids ain’t that easy eh? If only they came with an Instruction Manual! And an On/off switch. And volume Control. And Mood Control. And Appetite Suppressants. And….
I would like a remote for my kids. Skip over the bad moments and replay the happy ones.
Sorry about your back. Hope things improve quickly.
I wish it were that simple to raise kids, and I guess in some ways it is, especially when they’re young. As they get older, it takes more love than anyone could possibly imagine to get through the really challenging times.
Can you tell that I need lots of vodka this week? *grin*
What? The worst is yet to come? I might have to start drinking.
Bummer about the back….
cute pictures of the kids though…and really nice pot
have you tried any alternative stuff like acupuncture or chiropractic? As well as some physical therapy? or is it a disc problem?
The doc said a chiropractor would be helpful if I saw him the same day my back went out. But it was already after 4pm on Saturday when I left the doctor’s office. Not a disc problem. Ligament injury.
You’ve been tagged! Visit my blog for details. : )
I’ll stop by either tonight or tomorrow. There will be prizes, right?
Hee hee – I wish that too – great shots. Sorry about the back…again. That’s just plain miserable. I feel that way about most of my joints and I DREAD getting older with them knowing it will only get worse.
Hugs,
Holly
How did people in biblical times live for several years with these types of old age problems?
Haha, if only it were that easy!
Hope your back gets better! I know how it is! Don’t sneeze! :P
It hurts when I cough too!
you mean… it’s not? that simple?
I’m just kidding. It really is that simple. Even easier if you are a single parent.
Well, they grow like weeds; you’re half way there. Sorry about your back!
Hmmm. I’ve never thought of kids as weeds before. But then again, they can be real pests at times.
OWIE. I’m so sorry about the back. :(
Those are adorable pics!!
If you are really sorry, how about donating your back to me?
I love the pictures. Sorry about your back.
If only my body could stay young forever. That would really be nice.
I forgot to say I am sorry about your back : ( when you find the body parts store let me know where it’s at…I may trade in a few parts myself.
Feel better!
OK, will do. I’ll assume you want a legal source of body parts.
Crap….about your back. I hope it gets better soon.
Nothing worse….keep us posted…
Love the flower pot kids….x
Flower pot kids at times, monsters at other times.
Ouch! I’m sorry about your back again.
Cute little Flower children! Wouldn’t that be nice to grow them inside in pots then transplant them outside when they become teenagers! Or at least to the garage!
I assume you mean in someone else’s yard or garage.
Aww..Daddio…you poor thing..hope your back gets better soon. Have you been to the Doc about it? Why does it keep going out so much on you? Back pain is one of the worst pains there is, aside from labor, of course. Love the kids in the pot picture…too cute! Your little ones are so photogenic.
I went to the doctor this time, but I was in too much pain and discomfort to remember to ask why it happens so often.
If you find the body part replacement store, can you see if they have some lungs for me? I’m sorry about your back!
Cool pictures!
OK, I’ll pick up some lungs for you.
sorry about your back. LOL! I wish raising kids were that EASY PEASY! BTW nice pots.
I’m thinking we accidentally ordered difficult kids instead of the easy version.
Wonderful pics! And I agree … but at times, those lil hands hugging you or holding your palm at night makes everything worth it.
Yes, they do it. But I wish my son would stop turning sideway in bed because he keeps kicking me in the ribs.
oh that it would be that simple!!
