Spring for a Day

Posted by Daddy Forever on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 : : 31 comments

Last weekend was warm and fun. It was 80 degrees in our area on Saturday. But the sun has abandoned us and the rain, cold, and gloom has returned. It barely made it to 50 degrees yesterday. I’m also swamped with work. I’m going to clone myself to reduce my workload. You can expect two of me in the near future.

I don’t have time to write this week so I’m posting photos. But in my unbiased opinion, they’re cute photos.

Maybe daddy should call me the Little Bird.

Ooops. We forgot where we buried daddy.

Nope, summer won’t come this year. Spring isn’t even here yet.

Hey, a picture’s worth a thousand words, so as I see it, these are good for at least TWO posts! Good luck today :)

It looks like they are having fun! Little Monkey’s hair is getting long. Will Mommy let it grow like Princess’ hair?
My favorite pic is of the bird hat. Cute.

We use to keep the Little Princess’ hair short, but when she started kindergarten she told us she wanted it long. The Little Monkey’s hair doesn’t grow fast. My wife only trimmed it once so far (and she hated having her hair cut).

Yeah, the good weather didn’t last as long as I would like. Gotta wonder about that whole global warming thing.

the pictures are so cute! You’re totally right.

Global warming doesn’t seem to apply in the nw. We had a mild summer last year and spring doesn’t seem to last more than a couple of days at a time.

The Little Monkey is actually quite bossy. She’s going to be a real pain when she becomes a teenager.

All she needs now is the TV remote to go with the beer.

I didn’t think it through. My clone isn’t the same age as me. He’s just a newborn and not helpful at all. I think I’ll call him mini-me.

For some reason the picture of Little Monkey in the pink dress with that hat on reminds me of those mushrooms dudes from Super Mario Bros. But that might be the cough syrup and cold medicine I took a bit ago talking…

Yeah, she does look like a character from a sci-fi/fantasy movie. If only it was real, then she could help support our family.

The kids had fun, but a shade tree would have been nice for me.
