8 Random Things About the Little Monkey

Posted by Daddy Forever on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 : : 29 comments

Little MonkeyI’m back. Sorry I have not been reading your blogs lately. I have a lot of catching up to do this week. I can’t believe it has been almost four weeks since my last post. I wasn’t expecting to be gone this long. After I repaired the tear in the time-space continuum, I got the stomach bug again. This time, it took me a couple of weeks to recover. Apparently, the stomach bug diet works better than the pizza and Dorito diet. I lost 13 pounds in two weeks and now I weigh 147 pounds. Someone should write a book about the stomach bug diet. Best seller I tell you.

While I was gone, Emma tagged Spiderboy or Little Monkey. Emma is the adorable daughter of Mary, the Queen of Dorks.

Little Monkey is doing the meme. Otherwise, every random fact will involve a superhero. Here are eight random things about the Little Monkey:

(1) Daddy is my favorite playmate. Unlike my big brother and sister, daddy does whatever I want him to do. Whenever I see him, I have to play with him. He’s the best.

(2) I like to mess with daddy’s head. For no reason at all, I would get mad at daddy. He’ll just be standing there and then I start yelling at him and tell him to go away.

(3) My favorite color is purple. My sister likes blue and my brother likes red.

(4) I like to watch videos on daddy’s blog. My favorites are the ones with me in them. I’m so cute.

(5) I call my brother by his first name, but I just call my sister, “Sister.” I don’t think my sister even has a first name.

(6) I don’t like to sleep with blankets so mommy makes me wear at least six shirts at night.

(7) When daddy gets upset with us, he tells us, “No daddy.” My brother and sister cry when he does that, but not me. I just yell back at him and tell him, “No me” and “no play.” Daddy’s silly Jedi parenting tricks don’t work on me.

(8) I’m the only one in the family to fall out of a high chair. I’ve been climbing in and out of my high chair by myself since I was just one year old. That’s one of the reason why I’m called the Little Monkey.

Hey, I’m glad you’re back. So Sorry about your stomach bug. Yuck.
That Little Monkey is precious. Roo climbs into his high chair, too. It’s probably time to move him to a real chair, but I still like the containment factor of the high chair. No getting up and down during dinner yet.

Well, that’s the problem with the Little Monkey. She climbs in and out, in and out.

What a fun share on Little Monkey. I hate it when they figure out the Jedi mind tricks.

Hugs,

Welcome back Daddyforever and Little Monkey! Keep messing with Daddy’s head, Little Monkey. It’s good practice for when you’re a teenager.

And sorry to hear about your stomach ills. Was it the Browns’ season or Belichek being named coach of the year?

If only the Browns didn’t choke against the Bengals. I guess we’ll see next year if the Browns were just a fluke this year.

I have often prayed to be able to participate in the Stomach Bug Diet. ;) I participated in it once back in 1992. You are right, that is a fast way to lose some weight.

I guess now would be a good time to get off of the pizza and Dorito diet. It’s been a few years since I weighed close to 145.

Ha! I brought you out of early retirement :D I’m sorry you were so sick… I hope none of you babes got it too. That’s the worst, when all you can do is hold a big bowl in front of them and wait.

John was very sick a for about a month, he kept picking up stuff at the hospital he works at (he’s an IT guy), and he managed to lose almost 15 lbs.

Your little monkey is adorable! She looks like she’s a smart one, Jedi-schmedi. Emma is the same way, when she saw the video of herself on my blog I had to play it…

Thanks for playing along, wasn’t it kind of fun? I really enjoyed this meme.:)

I love Miss Monkey’s meme. TOO cute!! Glad you’re back…I missed you. Sucks you were sick. The bug was rough this year. Took me weeks to recover, too but now I’m all well and back enjoying the Dorito diet. ug.

I got a bag of Dorito with my name written all over it. What a shame. I lose all that weight, now I’m going to gain it all back.

It’s a good thing I have three adorable kids. The list would not work as well if it was about me.

Maybe I should have that stomach bug just for the sake of losing weight … then again, it would be pretty horible so I’m just gonna go pray now …

“lord, if you can’t make me thin, make all my friends fat!”
