I am not from Mars
I’ve been tagged. This time, Dixie Chick tagged me for the middle name meme. Here are the rules:
1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.
2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, just make one up…or use the one you would have liked to have had.
3. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts.
4. At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
My middle name is Kimsze, which is my Chinese name:
K is for Ken or Kenny. My aunt gave me my American name after I was exiled from Hong Kong. Everyone that knew me before I went to college calls me Kenny. Everyone else calls me Ken…including my kids sometimes…and the neighbor’s seven-year old daughter. When I see her in the backyard, I head for the side farthest away from her. But that doesn’t stop her from calling out my name. “Keeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnn! What are you doing?” Excuse me, that’s Mr. Ken to you.
I is for Incredibles. The Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie. It’s about Supers. How can you go wrong with a superhero movie? You do know I like superheroes, right? The Incredibles is actually one of the rare movies I don’t mind watching a billion and one times with my super kids.
M is for Mars. According to some people, men are from Mars and women are from Venus. I can assure you, I am not from Mars. My home planet isn’t even in this solar system.
S is for Star Trek. I’m a big Star Trek fan and I can’t wait until the new Star Trek movie comes out next Christmas. Sylar from Heroes plays the young Mr. Spock. Makes sense to me. After all, Heroes has Sulu and Uhura. Next year, I wouldn’t be surprise if Chekov joins the Heroes cast. BTW, I think my wife is getting me a transporter for Christmas. Maybe a phaser too.
Z is for Zhang Ziyi. She’s an actress (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Memoirs of a Geisha; House of Flying Daggers). My wife has given me permission to marry Zhang if Ziyi agrees to pay a dowry. My wife also mentioned something about no returns or refunds. Not sure what that’s suppose to mean.
E is for Evil. I like to pretend I’m evil. Very evil. Just so you know, the villains in movies are not evil. They are just misunderstood. <Start Evil Laugh> Ha-ha-ha-haaaa! </End Evil Laugh>
I’m suppose to tag six bloggers now, but I’m not going to because I’m evil. If you want to play along, consider yourself tagged. Let me know and I’ll come by for a visit. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Kenny, you one funny guy, you know? You no evil; you funny.
Keeeeeeeeeeennnnnn?! Whaddya doin’ NOW?!?!?!?!?!
I am to evil. You take that back.
I want to BE Zhang Ziyi… sheesh. And what’s up with kids calling adults by their first names anyway? I’m not that old but I wasn’t raised that way, Mr. Ken.
At least with my kids, I know they do it to be funny. They wouldn’t do that with other adults. The neighbor’s kid don’t know any better because her parents don’t seem to care (they are in the back when she calls out my name).
If you get a transporter, you have to tell me where I can get one too!
Keep smilin!
I saw one at the Star Fleet factory outlet store.
Interesting breakdown…I love the Incredibles too…we watch it all the time…
Dixie
Do you have a super power too? I can fly.
You are hilarious.
I have to tell you, I can’t stand it when kids call me Mrs. Grimmett. I’m always telling them, “Just call me Leslie.” And their parents insist that they do not. But, I’m pretty stubborn. Now, all our playgroup kids call me Leslie. Every other mom is called Mrs. Whateverherlastname is. And Julia follows that rule, too. But for me? Just Leslie.
I have to admit, it makes feel old when kids call me mister.
You are too funny Mr Ken!
I don’t like it when kids call me by my first name either (small kids that is). when my kids went through school, my dd always introduced me as “mom” so that is what her friends all called me. :0) I can live with that
I think I would feel weird if other kids start calling me dad.
The new Star Trek movie does look cool hugh! Have you been to the Star Trek Experience in Vegas? It was considerably cooler the first time we went but still fun. Generations is still my favorite ST group. Patrick Stewart will forever be Picard first Stewart second. LOL Incredibles is in a league all its own - ’nuff said. How is Heroes progressing?
Hugs,
Holly
I have never been to Vegas. If I do, I’ll check out the Star Trek Experience. Last week’s episode of Heroes was the best. It ties in what happened at the end of last season to what is going on now. I still love the show.
Kiszme is a very cool name!
I didn’t like my Chinese name when I was a kid, but I do now. That’s why all of our kids have Asian middle names.
My hubby is a Star Trek fanatic, too. I love him anyway. ;)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I thought you married him because he’s a Trek fan. Who wouldn’t?
We watch the Incredibles regularly too. Did you know there will be a second one? I don’t know much about it though. I’ll post something when I find out. I think I did this meme a while back, but it’s pretty short since my middle name is short. Have you seen the preview for Ironman?
I’ve seen the Ironman preview. To me, Robert Downey Jr doesn’t seem like the right actor for Tony Stark (”Ironman”).
I love your blog!
Sorry, just felt the need to comment. If you like, come check mine out and please offer any suggestions!
