Ring Around the Rosie
Thanks everyone for your support, warm wishes, and hugs. I appreciate it. Now, back to something light — like a video of my two youngest kids.
The video is one of my favorites because it captures a rare moment when Spiderboy and the Little Monkey are playing well together. Usually, Spiderboy is chasing after the Little Monkey because she took one of his super hero toys. It’s a bit funny watching him chase after his sister because my wife told him to ask for the toy back instead of ripping it out of his sister’s hands. Now, he screams at the Little Monkey. “PLEASE!!! PLEASE! I said PLEASE! Give it back to me! OK, no friend!” Well, because you asked so nicely, of course you can have your toy back. BTW, “no friend” means they can’t be friends anymore — as if they were buddies to begin with.

That’s just precious. You truly devour the few moments when there’s happy play don’t you? Thank heaven we get some of it amongst everything else! They’re adorable.
Hugs,
Holly
I wish it was more often!
Too stinkin’ cute! Don’t you love when they play nicely together? That’s why we video this stuff – to remind us that once in a while, it happens.
Thanks for sharing.
I was lucky I had the camera handy.
Awwww! that is sooo sweet! I always try to make sure I give positive reinforcement to my girls when love on each other. :D It offsets all the screaming I do.
Gee, at least I hope. LOL!
What?! Parents never scream at their kids. |-)
Too cute!
Loved the new lyrics to the old standby.:)
Leave it to my son to change the lyrics on a classic.
total cuteness!! I love seeing siblings playing nicely together. : ) Glad you could get this rare moment on camera.
I wonder if I should tape them when they are bad too as proof down the road.
They look like they are having fun. I love the “cozy, cozy” part. Does Little Monkey always like to fall on her brother? Spiderboy probably doesn’t like to put up with it much, does he?
Well, it’s more painful when Spiderboy falls on top of Little Monkey.
Oh, so cute! I’m an only child and I’ll admit, I’m nervous about the whole sibling thing with the second one on the way. You know, the fighting and stuff. I have the feeling I’m going to me the mom saying, “You should be nicer to your sister! I didn’t even have one. You’re lucky!”
You might get lucky. With a 4 year gap, there shouldn’t be as much fighting. Julia will probaby act like a little mommy around the baby.
So sorry about your “walking into a war zone” ! I promise you that is the first and only one I ever want to be involved in.. it has been darn awful to say the least! I hope it has not put you off! Thanks for visiting my blog,
