just be glad you get enough snow to do that. since we moved to ohio the kids have been accusing us of taking them to a place that doesn’t have “real winter”.

is that a real pumpkin? you get extra points for stability. if that were me it wouldn’t even have stayed on long enough to smile back at me.

my hubby’s great idea a few years back was to pack snow into boxes to make “blocks”. but then the boxes disintegrated even before we could pack the snow in solidly enough. so no snowmen, and no blocks. we had pieces of corrugated boxes mixed in the snow though, by the time the snow stopped.

OF COURSE mommies are in charge. nobody told you that before you had kids?

The video is too cute. Your children are adorable! I feel your pain, though. Julia asks Daddy when I say no. Daddy learned the hard way that if I say no, he better say no, too. He’s got the scar to remind him.

Awww, you’re not a failure… I give you points for persistence and creativity, and yes for the size of the snowman. though I do love your wife’s snow chick’s style, too! It’s a pretty close race in my opinion. :O)

As far as being in charge, don’t worry… my kids ask daddy after I have said no.

I agree with everyone else – you get style points for your snowman for originality. Oh, and size counts as well!

And tiggerprr is right — whatever gave you the idea that YOU were in charge? The woman is ALWAYS the center of the household, and definitely if she’s a mommy. Duh!

I started to read your blog and like it. I think you should get points for size. My snowmen aren’t any better. They average about 4 ft. in the fear that if it tips over it will crush one of my kids.

I would give your snowman extra points for originality. I like how you incorporated a jack o’lantern into it, thereby making it kind of multi-holiday themed. Very cutting edge. ;)
