Driving Her Crazy
What else is new? Of course, I drive my wife crazy. That’s what husbands are suppose to do. It’s in the marriage contract. But this time, it’s the little princess that I am driving crazy. It started Saturday night. Movie night. The one night of the week when Princess M can stay up with dad to watch a movie. Unfortunately, I didn’t rent a movie so we watched a rerun of Heroes. This was the first time Princess M watched Heroes and she liked it. Actually, she liked the geeky Japanese guy, Hiro. She thought he was funny.
To be funny, I repeated one of Hiro’s line, “Hoo-hoo. Waffles!” The little princess laughed. I repeated it again and the little princess laughed again. The next morning, once again I said, “Hoo-hoo. Waffles!” This time, Princess M said, “Would you stop saying that. You’re driving me crazy.” She’s only six and I am already driving her crazy. And I have no problem with driving her crazy because I know she will be doing the same to me when she’s a teenager. Might as well get in my shots while I still can.
Speaking of crazy, take a look at these crazy kids wearing mommy’s hat. And what’s the deal with the missing teeth? How’s a kid suppose to bite anyone without any sharp teeth?

Hoo-hoo! I say you keep driving her crazy. She WILL return the favor in about 4-5 years.
What a cute pic of Princess. I love the no teeth look.
Spiderboy-too cute.
Get your digs in while you can, because you are correct, you will be the recipient soon enough!
Love the photos — cute as always!
Too true that the driving will be reversed one day!
They are so adorable.
Keep smilin!
They lose their teeth when they’re young so they can be replaced by sharper ones.
I think that’s what dads are supposed to do. I know mine sure drove me crazy. I love it when they’re missing teeth, it’s so cute.
I am going to take a look at my marriage contract now…
I LOVE the hats! I WANT one! The tassles are great! I was reading your previous post about the 200 brains and the future Mommy Forever actually kind of buying into it… well, my husband, Geo, does the SAME THING! I have to fact check constantly!
Case in point: I tend to have a cold tushy which he has commented on when we snuggle. So I innocently asked him, “Well, I’ve heard that cold hands mean a warm heart, I wonder what a cold tushy means?” And with a coompletely straight face he says, “I think it has something to do with the spleen.”
Julia tells me, “Mom, you’re makin’ me nuts!” Don’t know where she would’ve heard that…
By the way - I LOVE Heroes! Dave got me hooked. I can’t wait for new episodes. I’m a Hiro fan, too. He’s my favorite on the show.
