My Blog is for Sale, Not my Kids
Stephanie over at the About Parenting Blog has a post about selling ad space on your child. There's a mom who made about $1000 selling ad space on her son's clothing (via eBay). I just don't see myself selling ad space on my kids' clothes. I already feel guilty about running ads on my parenting blog (but not bad enough to remove them). At least the ads on this blog are not plastered on my kids.
However, I have to admit, it would be different if a designer approached me about using my kids to promote their clothing line. Then I would feel like my kids are special and a designer wants to outfit them because they are the coolest kids in the world.
